2015 IFBB Icelandic cup.
There are only 6 short days untill the 2015 IFBB Icelandic cup when this article is written and the IFBB Iceland has launched the competitors list.
Although some competitors could still drop out of the race the list is pretty solid. The biggest shocker is that the bikini fitness height classes have been dropped from 4 classes to 2.
Instead on -163cm class, -168cm class, -171cm class and +171cm class we now only have -168cm and +168cm class.
This seems to be the results of fewer bikini fitness competitors in the open class.
There are only 23 competitors in total in the bikini fitness open class at this time which is a lot fewer then the last couple of years but no worries because there are a lot of girls planning on coming in strong in the year 2016.
Another change has been made in the womans classes because the bodyfitness class (fitness) has also been dropped from -163cm class and +163cm class to one open class.
There are a few classes I´m excited to watch this coming weekend. First I have to mention the bikini fitness -168cm class where there are 4 former Icelandic champions battling for the title,

but there are also a few other girls in that class that could claim the gold.
In the +35 Bodyfitness class is Sif Garðarsdóttir with a huge comeback but she hasn´t competed in 10 years. But Sif is not alone in the class because the reign Icelandic champion Rósa Björg is also competing and she has never been in such a good shape.
This should be one of the biggest battles of the weekend.
A week ago came a big shocker when Mark Bargamento dropped out of the competition because of personal matters. Mark was in the best shape of his carreer and it would have been a pleasure seeing him on stage.
A lot of competitors are making their debut appearances at the 2015 IFBB Icelandic cup and I´m personally most excited to see a new bodybuilder named Vilmar Valþórsson stepping on that stage in the +90kg class.
This should be a very interesting show with a lot of newcomers and some solid veterans in between.
